The evasion from reality, the escape, the journey... RUUAR’s vision remains unshaken, seeking for the vortex that makes the difference on the dance floor.

Passionate for different electronic music tendencies, from the abstract house to the purest and elemental techno, Pedro Rebelo and Hugo Bastos distinguish themselves on how they embrace and fuse different musical influences. The shaping of these elements ends through a rhythm blast where music is a shuttle towards an inner voyage.

The musical ecleticism that defines themselves isn ́t always easy to conciliate with their musical inner vision, so that ́s the reason why their performances are deliberately and wittingly selected in order to proportionate to the audience an unusual and unique musical experience through the hard trails of electronic music meander.

Along the time, they had the privilege to have their work and their vision recognised by a renown team in the electronic musical field: NEOPOP Electronical Music Festival, that raised their dream to a completely different level, allowing them to continuously share their work with the audience and to reinforce their filosofy.

Being the streets in general the most expressive metaphor for ability ans genious that shapes the music that they present in their set ́s, and having the uncertain, the maze and the thrill of the journey as a background, they will continue to seek for an original way to proportionate to the audience an escape from the reality that sometimes is so hard to support... This will continue to be RUUAR ́s legacy...

A evasão da realidade, a fuga, a viagem... A visão dos RUUAR mantém-se inalterada na busca do vórtice que marca a diferença nas pistas de dança... Amantes de diferentes vertentes musicais no mundo eletrónico, desde o house mais abstrato ao techno mais puro e elementar, Pedro Rebelo e Hugo Bastos, procuram a singularidade pela forma como abraçam e fundem as suas influências musicais. A fusão destes elementos culmina numa explosão de ritmo, onde a música proporciona ao ouvinte uma viagem interior.

O ecleticismo musical que os define nem sempre é fácil de conciliar com a visão que procuram, por isso o alinhamento deste conceito com as suas atuações é deliberadamente seletivo no sentido de proporcionarem ao público uma inusual e melomaníaca viagem pelos meandros da música eletrónica.

Ao longo deste percurso tiveram o privilégio de ter a sua visão reconhecida por uma equipa de renome no mundo da música eletrónica: NEOPOP Electronic Music Festival, que elevaram a outro patamar o sonho destes dois artistas, permitindo-lhes partilhar aquilo que construíram com os demais ouvintes e tornando cada vez mais clara a sua filosofia.

Sendo a rua a metáfora mais expressiva da genialidade e do engenho que molda a música presente nas suas sessões, e tendo a incerteza do caminho, da viagem, como pano de fundo, os dois vão procurar continuar a proporcionar ao público uma fuga à realidade que por vezes tão difícil se nos apresenta... Esta vai continuar a ser a missão dos RUUAR.
