In 2019, António Lourenço, also known as Floating Machine, composed a musical piece for the show Armadilha:
“ARMADILHA, a show from DEMO collectiv, is born from the literary universe of the writer RUI NUNES. The research proposes the encounter between the trilogy - A Mão do Oleiro, Barro e Armadilha - and the performative and plastic arts, for the exploration of different forms of interaction with this literary material. A work that becomes unmistakable for the way the writer explores the dilatation of the limits of language, for the deregulation and continuous suspension, and for the new approach to a free narrative form. We enter this reality-fiction that reveals contemporary concerns: identity, nomadism, homeland. A polyhedral reality where autobiographical fissures of the author emerge: childhood as a space of absolute freedom, ageing, ruin, bone, insatiable hunger and the impossibility of escape. We are all animals. Words.
We all carry sketches, debris, incomplete drawings, incomplete pain.
It's here. It's there.

“ARMADILHA é um espetáculo do coletivo DEMO, que nasce a partir do universo literário do escritor RUI NUNES. A pesquisa propõe o encontro entre a trilogia - A Mão do Oleiro, Barro e Armadilha - e as artes performativas e plásticas, para a exploração de diferentes formas de interação com este material literário. Um trabalho que se torna inconfundível pela forma como o escritor explora a dilatação dos limites da linguagem, pelo desregramento e contínua suspensão, e pela nova abordagem a uma forma narrativa livre. Entramos nesta realidade-ficção que revela inquietações contemporâneas: identidade, nomadismo, pátria. Uma realidade poliédrica onde surgem fissuras autobiográficas do autor: a infância como espaço de absoluta liberdade, o envelhecimento, a ruína, o osso, a fome insaciável e a impossibilidade da fuga. Somos todos bichos. Palavras.
