Raving Iran is a 2016 German-Iranian film written and directed by Susanne Regina Meures. The film follows Iranian DJs “Anoosh and Arash are at the center of Tehran’s underground techno scene. Tired of hiding from the police and their stagnating career, they organize one last manic techno rave under dangerous circumstances in the desert. Back in Tehran they try their luck selling their illegally printed music album without permission. When Anoosh is arrested, there seems to be no hope left. But then they receive a phone call from the biggest techno festival in the world. Once landed in Switzerland, the haze of the instant euphoria evaporates quickly when the seriousness of the situation starts to dawn on them.”

Raving Iran é um filme germano-iraniano de 2016, escrito e realizado por Susanne Regina Meures. O filme segue os DJs iranianos "Anoosh e Arash, que estão no centro da cena techno underground de Teerão. Cansados de se esconderem da polícia e da sua carreira estagnada, organizam uma última rave techno maníaca em circunstâncias perigosas no deserto. De volta a Teerão, tentam a sua sorte vendendo o seu álbum de música impresso ilegalmente sem autorização. Quando Anoosh é preso, parece não haver mais esperança. Mas depois recebem um telefonema do maior festival techno do mundo. Uma vez na Suíça, a névoa da euforia instantânea evapora-se rapidamente quando a seriedade da situação começa a aperceber-se deles."
