That “André” Carvalho is the person behind Monsta Sounds' alter ego. It started out as a blog, then became a unicorn and is now simply a post of interpersonal music sharing without subterfuge. Along the way, André Carvalho is part of the production team of one of the main clubs in the city Invicta, Plano B, where he also shares his magic rings regularly. He was one of the partners of Harborage, the main port of refuge in Porto for those who want to acquire the best of electronic music and its derivatives on vinyl. Since 2012 he is one of those responsible for Circus, a cultural entity that has since then been carrying out regular work in the promotion and dissemination of Portuguese art and culture. More recently he created the independent publisher Tooli Créme, giving new life to dusty drums and dark rhythms and Jazzego, a Porto record label founded together with Hugo Oliveira aka Minus & MRDolly.

Aquele “André” Carvalho é a pessoa atrás do alter ego Monsta Sounds. Começou por ser um blogue, depois tornou-se num unicórnio e agora é simplesmente um posto de partilha musical interpessoal sem subterfúgios. Pelo caminho, André Carvalho faz parte da equipa de produção de uns dos principais clubs da cidade Invicta, o Plano B, onde também partilha as suas rodelas mágicas com regularidade. Foi um dos sócios da Harborage, o principal porto de abrigo no Porto para quem quer adquirir o melhor da música electrónica e seus derivados em vinil. Desde 2012 é um dos responsáveis da Circus, uma entidade cultural que tem vindo a realizar desde então trabalho regular na promoção e divulgação da arte e cultura portuguesa. Mais recentemente criou a editora independente Tooli Créme, dando nova vida a tambores empoeirados e ritmos obscuros e a Jazzego, uma editora discográfica portuense fundada juntamente com o Hugo Oliveira aka Minus & MRDolly.
